Vinícius Jr to Stay at Real Madrid

Vinícius Júnior will remain at Real Madrid beyond this summer despite reported interest from Arsenal.

The Spanish giants have no intention of selling the Brazilian winger and are optimistic about securing his long-term future with a new contract.

It is understood that positive discussions between the player’s representatives and the club led to an agreement between both parties for Vinicius to continue with Real Madrid.

New manager José Mourinho is a strong admirer of Vinícius and views him as a central figure in his next generation of “Galácticos,” underlining the player’s importance to the club’s sporting project.

Arsenal Interest in Vinicius

For days, Arsenal have shown their interest in the Brazilian winger as they aim to strengthen their attacking line going into the next season.

The Gunners recently sold forwarder Trossard to Beşiktaş.

It is understood that this comes as the club intend to let go some of their attacking minded players as they aim to revamp their forward line.

To this end, they’ve signed Greek forwarder Christos Tzolis from Club Brugge, with Vicius Jr highly regarded as another option to add up front.
