Real Madrid Reach Agreement with RB Leipzig to Sign Yan Diomandé

Real Madrid are set to sign Yan Diomandé after reaching a full agreement with RB Leipzig.

This development comes shortly after Paris Saint-Germain had initially rejected Real Madrid’s earlier bid for the Ivorian winger, deeming it insufficient to meet Leipzig’s valuation.

However, according to Fabrizio Romano, Real Madrid returned with an improved offer, agreeing to pay a fee exceeding €100 million to secure the youngster’s signature. This decisive move ultimately sealed the transfer in their favor.

Further, medical tests has already been scheduled to take place in Madrid later this week. Following its completion, Diomandé is expected to sign a long-term contract that will keep him at the club until June 2031, underlining Real Madrid’s long-term vision for the player.

PSG Withdraw from Race

Paris Saint-Germain eventually withdrew from the race, as confirmed by Fabrizio Romano, after concluding that Leipzig’s asking price did not align with their valuation of the player.

This withdrawal cleared the path for Real Madrid to finalize the deal without further competition.

The arrival of Diomandé adds to an already impressive list of signings by Real Madrid, as they continue to back new manager José Mourinho. Alongside Diomandé, the club have also secured reinforcements such as Marc Cucurella, Denzel Dumfries, and Bernardo Silva.
