Aston Villa left back Luca Digne has verbally agreed to join Paris Saint-Germain.
According to transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, the French giant has already informed Aston Villa they will pay his release clause worth up to £10 million after the World Cup.
The 32 year old French left back’s contract at Villa Park runs untill June 30 2028, and has now decided to leave before it’s expiration.
Romano also maintains that Digne has accepted his role as Nuno Mendes’ backup at PSG.
Luca Digne proved vital for France in their current campaign in the World Cup, helping his team to a third consecutive World Cup semi final where Les Blues will go up against Spain on Tuesday in Dallas.
