Arsenal have reached an agreement with Club Brugge to sign Greek forward Christos Tzolis in a deal worth £34 million.
With personal terms already agreed, the transfer fee makes Tzolis both the most expensive outgoing player in Belgian Pro League history and the most expensive Greek player ever.
The 24-year-old only joined Club Brugge in July 2024 from Fortuna Düsseldorf, signing a long-term deal. He quickly became a standout figure for the Belgian side, playing a crucial role in their 2025/26 title-winning campaign- helping the Blue-Blacks to a record 20th Belgian Pro League triumph.
Tzolis enjoyed a remarkable campaign last season , registering 22 goals and 29 assists in 52 appearances, including a record-breaking 23 assists in the Belgian Pro League- the highest ever in a single season.
His move to Arsenal is expected to fill the void left by Leandro Trossard, who has completed a switch to the Turkish League, with the Gunners opting for a younger and highly productive attacking option.
