Borussia Dortmund forward, Karim Adeyemi, agrees personal terms with Barcelona.
According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, the 24 year old German will be out of contract come June 2027, and has expressed his decision to join the Catalan giant to Dortmund’s hierarchy.
Per this same source, Barcelona has submitted a proposal to Dortmund, and talks are currently taking place between both clubs, with the deal looking very much likely to go in the favor of FCB, who will be hoping to add another personnel in the attack for the 2026/2027 season after completing the signing of Antony Gordon from Newcastle United in a deal worth €70 million which could rise to €80 million when add-ons are factored in.
Over the years, Adeyemi has proven himself as one of Europe’s most exciting and promising young forwards. With an electrifying pace, technicality, skills, dread in front of goal, and the ability to thrive in multiple positions in the attack, this is a kind of player that any club with an eye for success would fight over.
Adeyemi joined Borussia Dortmund from RB Salzburg for over €30 million in 2022, penning a five year deal. He went on to score 36 goals in all competitions within an almost four year campaign in North Rhine Westphalia.
