Dean Henderson Extends Crystal Palace Contract Until 2030

The England international has committed his future to the Eagles after a successful three-year spell at Selhurst Park.

Crystal Palace have announced that England international goalkeeper Dean Henderson has signed a new contract that will keep him at the club until 2030.

The 29-year-old has established himself as an important figure at Selhurst Park since joining Palace, playing a key role as the club secured three major honours over the past three years.

Henderson has been in goal for Palace during their FA Cup, Community Shield and UEFA Conference League triumphs, while also developing into a leader within the squad.

Speaking after the goalkeeper committed his future to the club, Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish expressed his delight at securing Henderson’s long-term future.

“As well as being an outstanding goalkeeper, Dean is our captain and leader and I’m absolutely delighted that he has extended his contract at Crystal Palace. Here’s to even more successful years ahead.”

Henderson was equally pleased to extend his stay in south London, describing his time at Palace so far as an “amazing three years” while looking forward to achieving more with the club.

“I’m delighted. It’s been an amazing three years – and I’m just so happy to extend my contract. My best years are in front of me and I’m happy to be giving that to Crystal Palace.”

Henderson’s Palace Record

Henderson joined Crystal Palace from Manchester United in August 2023 and has since made 119 appearances for the Eagles, keeping 38 clean sheets.

His performances at club level have also helped maintain his position within the England setup. The goalkeeper has made 35 senior appearances for the Three Lions and was included in England’s squad for this summer’s World Cup.

Henderson made his World Cup debut during the tournament, featuring once for England in their third-place play-off against France.

With his new contract now secured, Henderson will continue to serve as both Palace’s goalkeeper and captain as the club looks to build on a highly successful period in its history.

At 29, the England international will also have the opportunity to spend his prime years at Selhurst Park, with Palace placing their long-term trust in a goalkeeper who has already played a central role in the club’s recent success.
