Chelsea Prepare to Outs Alejandro Gernacho

Chelsea are preparing to sell Alejandro Garnacho, with Italian side AS Roma emerging as a strong contender for his signature as they look to strengthen their attack.
‎
‎According to Italian reports, Roma are only willing to sign Garnacho on an initial loan deal without an obligation to buy, while Chelsea are insisting on a permanent transfer to recover their investment.
‎
‎The Argentine winger is also open to leaving Stamford Bridge with negotiations  currently complicated due to the differing transfer terms.
‎
‎Roma have intensified their search for attacking reinforcements after the collapse of a move for Mason Greenwood. Sporting director Tony D’Amico is exploring multiple options to provide manager Gian Piero Gasperini with the firepower needed for next season, especially with the club targeting a strong return to UEFA Champions League football next season. Dan Ndoye is also being monitored as an alternative attacking option.
‎
‎Chelsea signed Garnacho in August 2025 for over £40 million on a long-term deal running until 2032. However, he has struggled to consistently meet expectations in West London, prompting the club to consider a sale as they look to reshape their squad.
